Why I’m Taking Part
My mum was my best friend - when ovarian cancer took her from me I lost my cheerleader, my safe space and my home. Last year, the same disease took Helen from us. It doesn't matter how old you are or how long it's been - your mum is the place you long for, on good days and bad.

Hi Marie, My mum lost her mum when she was only 15 years old. She has always talked about how much she misses her; every event, event birthday and especially when she had us. Her knees hurt too much to walk with you on the day, but we both will be cheering you on.
