I am a motherless daughter.
In 2012 I lost my center of gravity, my Mummy at the young age of 21.
Over the past 12 years, I've had to completely rebuild the person I am whilst grieving. A grief that knows no bounds and shape-shifts over the years.

Now a Mum of 3 little people and 2 bonus teenage boys, the hole my Mum left in my universe is felt by us all daily. They have missed out as much as I have.

Motherless Daughters Australia provides invaluable support to all of us in the "Dead Mum Club" none of us wanted to join.

It is estimated there are 1.2 million Australian women under 44 living without their Mums. MDA supports our community giving us a space and support that only we know.

I invite all those in the illawarra to walk and talk about our Mums for a good cause.
